Can Mohun Bagan Pile More Misery On Churchill Brothers?

INDIAN SUPER CUP PREVIEW

Churchill Brothers and Mohun Bagan face-off against each other for the third time this season as the I-League pair lock horns with a prize in the quarter-finals at stake. It’s been a rather one-sided affair so far this season as Mohun Bagan have knocked seven past Churchill Brothers with only one goal conceded so it doesn’t take a genius to figure out who the favourites are going into this game which takes place tomorrow.

Churchill Brothers Can’t Be Underestimated

Mohun Bagan come into the game on the back of only one loss in eight whereas Churchill Brothers have only won once in seven. It’s debatable whether or not you can call it a win anyway because it actually came in extra time against Delhi Dynamos in the qualifier for this very game.

It was an achievement in itself that Churchill Brothers saw off Delhi because Delhi were on a hot streak when they faced one another, so perhaps Churchill can’t be underestimated in this tie.

Churchill showed a certain amount of character to see of Delhi as well because they conceded after only five minutes, nevertheless, they withstood the pressure that Delhi threw at them and eventually beat them extra time, as I’ve mentioned.

Mohun Bagan have got a point to prove in the Super Cup as they fell short of their own lofty I-League expectations when they finished 3rd and four points off top spot. They’ve got a fully-fit squad to choose from and the smart money would have to be on Mohun for this game and that’s exactly where my money is going.

All Aboard The House Bet Revolution

Yes, you could argue that my money hasn’t always gone on the smart bets, nonetheless, it’s about time we had a house bet as it’s been a while. This is the start of the house bet revolution MK2. If you don’t get on board now, you’ll regret it forever.

I’m also aware that this isn’t as long as the other previews for the Super Cup and that’s for two reasons. One, neither of the teams are from the ISL (look at the name of the site) & two, I’m running around like a fucking madman trying to get 101 things done, so this will have to be your lot I’m afraid. I’ll do you a deal, if you let this go, I’ll make sure that the weekend round-up is a belter.

Until the next time.
